LayeredLiving ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

What we collect

• Order information: name, email, shipping address, payment details (processed by Stripe)
• Newsletter: email address (only if you opt in)
• Analytics: anonymous usage data

How we use it

• To process and ship your orders (legal basis: performance of a contract)
• To send order confirmations and shipping updates
• To send our newsletter, if subscribed (legal basis: consent — you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To improve our shop (legal basis: legitimate interest)

Third parties

• Stripe: payment processing
• PostNL: shipping

We never sell your data. We only share it where needed to fulfill your order or comply with the law.

How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice data for as long as required by law (Dutch tax law requires a 7-year retention period). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. You also have the right to data portability and to object to processing. If you have a complaint, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
